We found that there is a unique culture hidden that speaks through its people’s homes. From handwoven wicker baskets to artistically carved clay pots, to bowls spun out of bamboo and to colourful brooms, the warmth and vibrancy were undiscovered and had to be brought home.

And so, Kathaakaar was born! Through Kathaakaar, we wanted to curate artisanal products that brought together, the different cultures, the skills of their artisans, traditional techniques with a blend of modern sensibilities and local, natural materials into a fine collection of products that are not only good for your home but also good for your soul.
